Cognitive Behavioral vs. Mindfulness-Based Treatments for Insomnia

What is this project about?

This study is being done to test the effectiveness of two non-medication interventions for sleep disturbance in current or former members of uniformed services who sustained a mild to moderate traumatic brain injury. It is fully remote.

This study is approved by the Johns Hopkins Institutional Review Board  (IRB00356930). The principal investigator for this project is

Am I eligible to participate?

You may be eligible for this study if you:

  • are at least 18 years old

  • are a current or former member of uniformed services

  • have a mild to moderate traumatic brain injury (TBI)

  • have sleep problems

​

What will I be asked to do for this study and will I be compensated?

Participation in the study is 24 weeks long and compensation includes up to $600 depending on the visit/task completed.
